JadeGG's original phrasing system which this one is largely based off of.
In the quest to writing shorter, I've been interested in phrasing systems in stenography. I first encountered them while lurking in the Plover Discord server when I was about 10 months or so into steno. But I didn't want to start learning one right away since I had no idea which one to learn, or even if it was worth it. But for the last 6 months or so (I can't really remember) I've been learning JadeGG's phrasing system which is quite nice.
However, I've had a couple of changes over time, and eventually I thought about making my own. Most of the changes I've made are in the code rather than in the actual phrases, but I have managed to free up a lot of space for more phrases. In fact, I've practically doubled the number of middle words by using the number key. You can find my repository here. All the nitty-gritty details are there
I'm hoping I can't replace Jade's system with mine, but I'm really not sure if that'll be the case. I'm not a programmer at all, and I don't have a clue when it comes to optimisation. I think it's a bit faster than Jade's (I don't even know if I tested it correctly) so that shouldn't be a huge issue. So far, I don't see any big problems with it. I'm definitely going to update on it later down the road once I've got some of the phrases internalised a little bit better.
